Thumbs Up Therapy are pleased to announce that they have welcomed new Speech & Language Therapist, Claire O'Neill, to the team.
Claire has been living and working in Singapore since 2018, and she is fully registered under the Allied Health Professional Council (AHPC) . She has experience working with children as young as 1 year old with various different needs, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), global developmental delay (GDD), Down Syndrome, language disorders, and speech sound disorders.

Claire is passionate about providing a holistic approach to therapy for all children, and working closely with parents, schools, and other professionals to ensure they are supported in all environment. She is an advocate of using a Total Communication approach to ensure children can express themselves verbally, through gestures, and/or using alternative augmentative communication (AAC) devices. She adapts her approach between structured and play based activities to support children’s motivation and engagement in therapy.
